Pick an ADA from the top bar to work in one pocket — the map zooms there and loads only that area's data. Or use ⤓ Load this view / Show all on the map toolbar.
Turn on 🚧 New build (top of map) then draw — lines start black (to be built). Click a line to mark it Built (shows in its own service/layer colour) or IFDV (orange wavy), or add an equipment no.

Point symbol — for the asset tool
Pick a symbol, then use the point tool (top-left of the map) to drop it. Add a number/label by clicking the point.
Draw a polygon over the area, then set the details. Toggle each layer on/off above.
Pick an Area so the map only loads what you need. Draw your new build in New build; toggle utilities, imports & pot-holes under Existing services.

Draw the plans. Choose a layer on the left, then use the line tool (top-left) to trace a service — click along the road to add a bend at each click, double-click to finish. To bend an existing line, hit Edit (top-left) and drag the dots on it: solid dots move a corner, the faint dots between them add a new bend. Turn on Lot boundaries (top toolbar) to trace against ACT property blocks like a BYDA plan. Click a line or point to label or delete it, then hit Snapshot for a clean image to attach to a permit.

Add live data layer
Paste a public ArcGIS service URL (a FeatureServer layer ending in a number, e.g. …/FeatureServer/2, or a MapServer). It becomes a toggle overlay in the toolbar, shared with your team — great for ACT open-data layers (drains, streetlights, trees, etc.).

Import GIS file
Import a GeoJSON file (lines & points) onto a layer. Ideal for open data like ACT stormwater — download the GeoJSON, zoom to your job, then import just that area.
